It begins as a guidebook to understand the author and any of those “seekers” in your life that you either identify with or haven’t the slightest ability to understand. Then suddenly it becomes clear and you become the seeker and this book becomes a guidebook for life. Every seeker needs tools, and I am thankful to have this one.

The Eye Opening – Enlightenment Is Possible is a detailed account of the author’s journey to experience the opening of his third eye. LoPatriello’s retelling of his experience is vulnerable and honest and he encourages us to follow our hearts and look deeply into ourselves. Who are we? Why are we here? What is our purpose? His book gives us step by step instructions and teachings to start our own journey. I appreciate all the research and references that the author provides. Michael LoPatriello gives us the tools and confidence to delve deeper into our emotions and incorporate meditation, mindfulness and yoga practices in our daily lives. An excellent resource book.

I really enjoyed this book. As a yoga studio owner, I am always looking for new and interesting books on the subject of enlightenment. I was impressed with the amount of research done by the author. There are many quotes from lots of different relevant texts. In a way, it gives you a guide for further research on enlightenment and the third eye. His personal stories are also helpful in terms of connecting with the concepts discussed in the book. If you are curious about kundalini rising, third eye openings, or enlightenment in general, this book is a great choice.

I learned, after reading Mike’s book, that it was ok to truly feel my emotions, let them flow, and share them. I read the book on a plane ride from Seattle to Burbank and felt completely open to my emotions at the end of my journey. Some of us have professions that do not allow a public display of emotion. Mike gave me the tools to express my emotions in a safe place, and in a safe way. I am forever grateful.
